Patrick Ryan
Director and Chairman of the Board, Co-Founder

Dr. Patrick Ryan previously held various positions with Phelps Dodge Corp., culminating with the position of Executive Vice President in charge of worldwide mining operations. Pat was head of the team that was responsible for the discovery and development of the Candelaria copper mine in Chile . His familiarity with the Piedras Verdes project dates back to 1995 when he led a team that evaluated the project for Phelps Dodge. Since his retirement from Phelps Dodge in 1995, Pat has run his own consultancy business, servicing the mining industry globally. He is a director of Gold Fields Ltd. Pat graduated with a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa in 1967.

 
Alan Edwards
President & CEO, Director

Alan Edwards is a mining professional with 25 years of diverse mining industry experience. Most recently Alan held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Apex Silver Mines Corp. where he was responsible for the engineering, construction and commissioning of the San Cristobal project in Bolivia. Alan has a B.Sc., Mining Engineering and an MBA (Finance), both from the University of Arizona. He initially worked for Phelps Dodge Corporation for 15 years where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including General Manager of Operations, Chino Mines Company. From 1996 - 2000, Alan worked for Cyprus Amax Minerals Company where he rose to the position of President/General Manager of Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde S.A. in Peru. Prior to joining Apex Silver Mines, he held senior operating positions with P.T. Freeport Indonesia and Kinross Gold Corporation.

 
Hugh Snyder
Lead Director, Co-Founder

Since 1985 Hugh Snyder has served as the President of H.R. Snyder Consultants Ltd., a consulting firm providing services to resource development companies. From January 1999 to November 2003 he was the Chairman of Fronteer Development Group Inc., from May 1993 to July 1997 the Chairman of Greenstone Resources Ltd., and until the company was acquired in July 2007 a director of Rio Narcea Gold Mines Ltd. Hugh received a B.Sc. (Eng.) from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa in 1958 and completed the P.M.D. from Harvard Business School in 1969.

 
Wolf Seidler
Director

Mr. Seidler is a mining engineer with over 35 years of Canadian and international mining experience. His employment history includes positions with Normandy LaSource SAS, Williams Resources Inc., Inmet Mining Corp., J.S. Redpath Ltd., Teck Corporation and Gold Fields Mining Corp.

 
Christopher Thompson
Director

Christopher Thompson has been involved in the mining industry for more than 30 years. Chris is a director of Teck Cominco Ltd. He was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Gold Fields Ltd. from 1998 - 2002 and continued as Chairman until November 2005, and was Chairman of the World Gold Council from April 2002 until April 2005. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in law and economics from Rhodes University, South Africa, and a Master of Science degree in management studies from Bradford University, England.

 
Robert Gilmore
Director

Robert Gilmore is an independent financial consultant with 30 years of experience. Robby began his career with Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP), working in their Denver and New York offices. In his more than 20 years of experience with resource companies, he has served as Treasurer of Barringer Resources and Chief Financial Officer of US Gold Corp., Dakota Mining Corp. and Teamshare. He is currently a director of Eldorado Gold Corp. Robby is a Certified Public Accountant and a Member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of CPAs. He is a graduate of the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting

 
Norman Hardie
Director

Norman Hardie is a business consultant with over 43 years experience as a mining company manager and executive and is currently a director of TEAL Exploration and Mining Inc. Since 1997, he has served on the boards of several companies including Pangea Goldfields, Moydow Mines International, Tan Range Exploration, Crew Development, Fronteer Development and Anatolia Minerals Development. From 1996 to 1999, Norman served as Group General Manager responsible for North America of Normandy Mining Ltd., and subsequently as a consultant to that company. Between 1987 and 1996, he was Vice President of Inmet Mining Corp., coordinating marketing and operations of several mining projects. Norman has a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa and a Master of Economics from Cambridge University, England.
